Individual parameters must be taken into account, especially in production applications where labels are printed directly at the workplace. In many cases, special databases must be included or special workflows must be adhered to during labelling. Universal tool ideal for flexible programming
In order to be able to react as flexibly as possible with regard to the conditions of use in production practice and system architecture at the customer, we prefer to use FileMaker as the programming platform for extra4<makeIT> Individual-Software. On the one hand, FileMaker meets the requirements of professionals, but is also easy to learn for non-professionals. On the other hand, the program is an Apple product, but is also available in a Windows version.
Our aim with our individual software extra4<makeIT>, however, is to enable users to recognize necessary software adaptations and make IT themselves with FileMaker. This can be done completely autonomously by experts at the customer's, but also in cooperation with eXtra4. We are happy to train the responsible personnel on site in programming with FileMaker.

Software at eXtra4 is not a rigid product, but a living process. That's why software practically never is ready for us. If the application environment of an extra4<makeIT> Programms program changes, it has to adapt. Whether Microsoft or Apple - with FileMaker we have chosen our basic program for eXtra4<makeIT> so that our applications run smoothly in practice. In any case we support our customers during the implementation and accompany the first application with our programming expertise.

The individual software eXtra4<makeIT> is oriented towards the specific needs of the customer's business and its structure. In general, the purchase of an individual version of eXtra4<makeIT> includes the possibility to use the software on any number of computers at any number of company locations.As individual software eXtra4<makeIT> is geared to the internationality of the client. Basically the user guidance of the software takes place in one single language. Multilingual versions are possible.

Label design with standard software
Design the layout of the label print yourself
If you want to determine the form and appearance of your data on a label in all details yourself, you can use standardized software for label design, so-called Label-Designer. These programs enable the creation of individual label layouts for selected label printers via a design screen. Programming knowledge is not required for this.
In addition to the design tasks, the program also manages label printing. The software prepares the label contents for the connected printer and controls the output on the label.
Desktop-Publishing for labels
Label designers are layout tools for labels in the broadest sense. With their help, users generate and place label contents such as barcodes and texts from their data. The code type and its dimensions as well as text parameters, e.g. font, size, line spacing etc. are freely selectable.In addition to the design tasks, the program also manages label printing. The software prepares the label contents for the connected printer and controls the output on the label.

If it is necessary to create new label layouts on a regular basis, NiceLabel® offers itself as the world's leading software from a European manufacturer. We as label specialists at eXtra4 recommend the use of NiceLabel® as a professional full program. The use of NiceLabel® design software, which today often comes free of charge with label printers, is only advisable when external data does not need to be accessed.
Software with professional competence for label design
NiceLabel® enables the use of TrueType fonts, can rotate text arbitrarily, manages complex sequential numbering, and is able to access external databases. In addition, the software can control almost any thermal transfer printer on the market.
User help with practical experience
Using NiceLabel® as a professional universal label design software does not require programming skills and is not difficult. However, some experience working with Windows graphical applications is required.We are happy to support inexperienced users with help and advice or extensive training. Since we use NiceLabel® in our own company, we can rely on the experience we have gained in our daily work.
